Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Raqet platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of Service

Raqet is a sports court booking and community platform operating in Hungary. It allows users to discover and book courts, connect with other players, find coaches, and participate in leagues. Raqet is operated by Raqet, headquartered in Szeged, Hungary.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features you must create an account. By registering you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years old or have parental consent.
• The information you provide is accurate and up to date.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
• You will notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Bookings & Payments

When you make a booking through Raqet you agree to the following:

• Bookings are subject to court availability and venue policies.
• You are responsible for arriving on time for your reservation.
• Cancellation and refund policies are set by each individual venue and will be displayed before confirmation.
• Raqet acts as a booking intermediary and is not liable for disputes between users and venues.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or its infrastructure.
• Post false, misleading, or defamatory content.
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users.
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute content without our written permission.
• Use automated tools to interact with the Service without prior consent.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Raqet platform — including but not limited to logos, text, graphics, and software — is the property of Raqet or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written consent.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Hungarian and EU law, Raqet shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or personal injury occurring at booked venues. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to Raqet in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Hungary. If you are a consumer in the EU, you may also benefit from mandatory consumer protection provisions in your country of residence.
